These include Al-Zurariyya, Ansar, Hominee Al-Fuqa, and Jaba'a.
In its statement, the occupation army called on the residents of these villages to head north of the Zahrani River, which caused a heavy displacement movement towards Sidon and Beirut.
Israeli escalation on the vicinity of Nabatieh and the killing of two people inAl-Muslih
The Israeli occupation army focused its aggression in recent hours through the axes (Arnon – Zafata and the crossing) to reach the town of Kafr Tibnit, and reach the strategic hill "Ali Al-Taher" with a height of about 600 meters, in order to merge it with the fortress of Al-Shuqaif, which it tightly controlled at the end of last May.
To ensure visual supervision and direct fire control in the vicinity of the city of Nabatieh and the Litani River to put pressure on Hezbollah in the area.
According to field reports, two people were killed at dawn when an Israeli pickup truck was targeted on the road to Al-Muslih, one of them a citizen from the town of Kafr Shuba, and this coincided with a series of violent raids on Nabatieh Al-Fuqa, Surira, Haris, Hahada, Al-Rayhan and Froun, amid artillery shelling that hit the outskirts of the town of Yahmar in the Western Bekaa and Qatrani in Jezzine, Sarifa and Tyre, which resulted in 3 injuries in the town of Deir Qanoon al-Nahr as a result of a strike from an Israeli drone.
Hezbollah rocket fire
In this context, Hezbollah announced in two military statements that it had targeted a gathering of vehicles and soldiers of the Israeli enemy army in the town of Majdal al-Raziya with a rocket.
In its statement, the party also pointed out that a military position in the town of Houla was hit with two assault marches.
The Israeli occupation army monitored the fall and explosion of two drones that penetrated the airspace in the Western Galilee area near the border, where the Israeli Channel 12 confirmed that they fell near the settlement of Ras al-Naqoura after activating the sirens, causing a fire to break out in the settlement of "Shlomi" as a result of the fall of one of the drones.
Israeli Divergence on Lebanon
Inside Israel, Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich called on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to destroy and topple buildings in Beirut's southern suburbs in response to the launch of marches towards towns in the north, saying that the present days are crucial to determine the future.
National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir called for the southern suburbs to be shaken for every rocket fire from Lebanon, calling for the killing of "1,000 terrorists" from Hezbollah in exchange for "every hair on the head of an Israeli soldier," stressing that Israel is not content with containing but crushing terrorism.
On the other hand, former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, in statements to state radio, warned that Netanyahu may resort to intensive bombing of Nabatieh and Dahiya to drag Iran into a continuous confrontation with the aim of canceling or postponing the upcoming elections, stressing that if he does so, the Israelis will have no choice but to expel him with "sticks and stones."
Opposition leader Yair Lapid told the British newspaper "The Times" that Israelis are living in a state of despair and pessimism unprecedented since October 7 due to the failure to achieve the goals of the war and the severe damage to relations with Washington, noting that Tel Aviv must accept the agreement on the condition that it maintains its military capabilities, and reminding that their intelligence on the Iranian nuclear file is better than that of the United Nations.
The Yellow Line Dilemma
Politically, diplomatic leaks issued by the Israel Broadcasting Corporation have revealed that ground forces face a real dilemma in controlling the limits of the incursion. It is close to the city of Nabatieh, which the military sees as a stronghold to be seized, but this advance directly collides with the ceiling of a potential U.S.-Iran deal.
Leaks published by Israeli media indicated that Israel's behavior towards the Ali al-Taher hill surrounding Nabatieh oscillated between two options: either adhering to the borders of the "yellow line" and settling for a lightning operation to dismantle the tunnels and then withdraw towards al-Shuqaif, or installing a new line of security belt outside the yellow line, a high-cost option because it would require an eastward incursion into the heights of the Al-Tuffah region to secure the depth of the forces.
Leaked reports indicated that Israeli preparations are currently moving towards a "halt to in-depth attacks" to avoid booby-trapping the US-Iran deal, while reducing military operations in Beirut, but this conditional halt does not mean a withdrawal.
The Israeli sources indicated that Israel insists on remaining in the current "security zone" as part of its understanding with Tehran, provided that the final arrangements and conditions of the full withdrawal are transferred to direct discussion with the Lebanese side on the Washington negotiating table scheduled for June 22.
