Three Palestinians, including a child, were killed at dawn on Sunday, while a young man was moderately wounded by Israeli gunfire south and east of Khan Younis city in the southern Gaza Strip.
A medical source at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis reported that the body of Zaki Muhammad Al-Qara, 30, and another wounded as a result of Israeli gunfire in the vicinity of the Bani Suhaila roundabout in the east of the city, coincided with the death of another citizen (39 years old) as a result of being shot in the abdomen by the occupation forces at the Saraya junction the previous day.
The same medical source said that the 13-year-old Amir al-Bashiti was killed at dawn as a result of his serious wounds sustained by the occupation fire in the Batn al-Samin area, south of the city, coinciding with the continuation of the raids that resulted in the death of Palestinians in the vicinity of Al-Bureij camp.
Blowing up residential squares in Gaza
In this context, the Israeli occupation army began to carry out large-scale bombing operations on residential squares and entire civilian facilities in the areas of its deployment and incursion east of Gaza City and the town of Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip.
According to Palestinian sources, the bombing operations were accompanied by intense and violent artillery shelling, which led to the sound of huge explosions in the entire Gaza Strip, and Israeli gunboats fired fire and shells towards the coast of Gaza City to comb the area.
Raids in occupied Jerusalem and a campaign of arrests
The Israeli occupation forces arrested 7 citizens from the town of Anata, east of occupied Jerusalem.
The Jerusalem Governorate, citing local sources, stated that the campaign targeted Aref Salameh (Abu al-Amir) from the Dahiyat al-Salam area and four of his sons, in addition to the arrest of the two young men, Zain Nabil Salameh and Adam Salameh, in light of the recent escalation of incursions and arrests in the town.
The occupation forces also impeded the movement of citizens east of Qalqilya, as they closed the entrance to the village of Nabi Elias with iron gates, in addition to closing the Azzun-Jayyus road.
A recent report issued by the Commission for Resistance to the Wall and Settlements indicated that the total number of military checkpoints and gates in the Palestinian territories amounted to 916 checkpoints and gates, including 243 iron gates that were installed after the events of October 7, 2023, to dismember cities.
In addition, the Israeli occupation forces began demolishing houses, buildings and commercial stores in the Khor Al-Dabaa area inside the village of Barta'a Al-Sharqiyah, west of Jenin.
The demolitions came after an unjust decision was issued by the occupation court to demolish and destroy these facilities under the pretext of building without a permit, and the vehicles were accompanied by a heavy military deployment to close the entrances to the area.
Majdalani: The international community must curb the crimes of settlers
During his visit to the village of Raba, southeast of Jenin governorate, member of the Executive Committee of the PLO and Secretary-General of the Popular Struggle Front, Ahmed Majdalani, stressed that the decisions of the occupation government to return the settlements and unleash the colonizers' gangs to attack citizens and steal their lands require a serious international stance to impose sanctions on the occupation that sponsors them.
The head of the village council in Raba, Ghassan Al-Bzour, briefed the delegation on the reality of suffering as a result of the occupation's seizure of 10,000 dunums of the village's lands in favor of the systematic colonial plans.
In a separate context, the forces raided the western area of the city and raided the house of the Samaneh family in the town of Beit Iba and began to search it thoroughly amid the deployment of soldiers in the vicinity.
