Four Palestinians, including one in critical condition, were injured on Thursday as a result of an Israeli drone strike targeting an individual in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in northern Gaza City.
Medical sources told Anadolu Agency correspondent that four casualties, including one critical case, were brought to Al-Shifa Medical Complex and the Saraya Field Hospital following the Israeli strike in Sheikh Radwan.
Anadolu Agency correspondent, citing eyewitnesses, said that at least one missile targeted a person walking past a café in the neighborhood, causing amputation and critical injuries, while others were also injured.
Demolition and naval shelling operations
This followed large-scale demolition operations carried out by the Israeli army east of Gaza City, with the sound heard in various areas of the Strip.
In the southern part of the Strip, Israeli warships fired more than 40 shells at the coast of Rafah City in intermittent bursts over approximately two hours, according to eyewitnesses.
The witnesses added that the naval shelling coincided with intense and unprecedented gunfire from Israeli military vehicles and helicopters in the area, with no reports of casualties.
Continued violations
The southern areas of Khan Younis witnessed active movement of Israeli army vehicles, with gunfire directed at displaced persons' tents.
This comes amid ongoing Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement that has been in effect since October 10, 2025.
Israeli violations up to Thursday have resulted in the deaths of 1,505 Palestinians and injuries to 5,332 others, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health.
Since October 2023, Israel, with US support, has committed genocide in Gaza, resulting in more than 74,000 deaths and over 175,000 Palestinian injuries, and destruction affecting 90 percent of infrastructure.
