Widespread raids and arrests in the West Bank

Four Palestinians were killed and 16 others  were wounded as a result of Israeli airstrikes and  shooting in various areas of the Gaza Strip.

Palestinian medical sources  reported  that the occupation warplanes bombed a residential apartment in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City, killing two and wounding others.

Two other Palestinians were killed and several others were injured when an Israeli drone bombed a gathering of displaced people in front of a water filling station in the Al-Samer area, east of the city, and a vehicle on Al-Rashid Street in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis.

Meanwhile, other civilians were injured by drone fire and occupation vehicles, which fired heavily at the tents of the displaced and sheltered areas in Rafah and Khan Younis.

Arrests and raids in the West Bank governorates

The occupation forces continued their raids and arrest campaigns in various governorates of the West Bank, and security and local sources reported that the occupation forces arrested five citizens from Nablus governorate at dawn today, after searching their homes and tampering with their contents, in addition to arresting a citizen from the village of Qabalan.

The director of the Prisoners' Club in Tubas, Kamal Bani Odeh, reported that the occupation forces arrested two young men from the village of Ein al-Bayda in the northern Jordan Valley.

The arrests also affected citizens in occupied Jerusalem from the towns of Bedouin and Beit Sourik, a 15-year-old child in Hebron, and a citizen of Qalqilya, in conjunction with the storming of the village of Anin, west of Jenin, and subjecting released prisoners and their families to field investigations.

Settler Attacks and Military Closure in Hebron and Ramallah

Six Palestinians were injured and bruised following an attack carried out by about 30 heavily armed settlers under the protection of the occupation soldiers on citizens' residences in the village of um al-Khair in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, after the main gate of the village was closed.

According to the field sources, the attackers beat the residents and targeted the house of Salem Al-Hazaleen, where the occupation forces declared the area around him a closed military zone for two days and prevented his family from reaching the livestock barn.

In Ramallah, settlers grazed their sheep on agricultural lands in the village of Al-Mughayyir, causing widespread destruction of crops and trees as part of a policy aimed at seizing land and harassing the residents.

Dimensions of Settlement Expansion

This escalation on the ground in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank coincides with the Israeli government's announcement of a broad settlement plan aimed at a comprehensive demographic change in the occupied Palestinian territories.

Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich officially announced the start of the so-called "settlement revolution", stressing that the plans will not be limited to the West Bank but will extend to the Negev and Galilee regions.

This brings the volume of attacks to more than 3,400 recorded by the Anti-Wall and Settlement Commission since the beginning of this year, amid indications that there are 500,000 settlers in the West Bank and 250,000 in East Jerusalem, according to estimates by the Peace Now movement.
