Mustafa Zaki, Deputy Minister of Agriculture for Plant Wealth Affairs, held talks with a delegation from the Chinese company "Sanyuan Gongsheng" on areas of cooperation in reclaiming desert and degraded lands, treating soil salinity, and employing modern technologies to develop agricultural lands.
Dr. Zaki emphasized the importance of utilizing modern technologies to treat soil salinity and improve its properties, as well as investing in cultivable lands. He pointed out the significance of cooperating with the company and identifying suitable locations to conduct field trials to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed technologies.
Both sides agreed to continue coordination, hold technical meetings, and form joint working groups to determine the appropriate areas and locations for conducting trials, with a view to evaluating results and exploring cooperation prospects in this field.
The company "Sanyuan Gongsheng" focuses on regenerative agriculture and the development and marketing of modern agricultural technologies. Its model is based on providing an integrated system that deals with seeds, soil, water, fertilization, and agricultural climate as a single system, rather than supplying a single agricultural product, while incorporating biotechnologies, microbiological technologies, advanced materials, and water treatment.
