Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council Chairman Rashad Muhammad al-Alemi confirmed that the "Yemen Dawn" military operation is proceeding towards achieving its ultimate goal of ending the Houthi militia's coup and restoring state institutions. He stressed that this decision is binding and irreversible, regardless of the sacrifices, emphasizing the necessity of centralizing weapons and the decisions of war and peace in the hands of constitutional institutions.

For his part, al-Alemi clarified that the Yemeni Armed Forces have achieved good performance since the launch of the operation, confirming that temporary field changes will not deter the state from continuing its efforts to end the threat posed by the militia, with the support of brothers and friends. He pointed out that the launch of the operation came after exhausting opportunities for de-escalation and the militia's insistence on continuing the war and expanding its aggression.

He added that the threat posed by the Houthi militia is not limited to a specific governorate or region, but affects the security, freedom, and future of Yemenis in both the north and the south. He explained that what is happening in Taiz and Marib is linked to the security of Aden, Hadhramaut, and other governorates, and that protecting the security and stability of the south constitutes a fundamental part of national responsibility.

Al-Alemi condemned the Houthi militia's attacks on Saudi Arabia, stressing that the security of the Kingdom is closely linked to the security of Yemen and the interests of its citizens. He highlighted Saudi support for Yemeni state institutions, the national economy, and the general budget, as well as contributions aimed at ensuring the continuity of services, payment of salaries, and aid to those affected.

The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on October 5 of this year the launch of the "Yemen Dawn" military operation, which has achieved field progress on several fronts and tightened control over several key points, amid a decline in the militia's ability to hold its positions.
