Al-Ghazal first football team secured its third comeback victory in the history of the Saudi Pro League, overturning a two-goal deficit against Al-Fateh to win 3-2 in a match played on Sunday. This scenario repeated itself in two previous matches against Al-Taawoun and Al-Hilal, which Al-Ghazal also won by the same scoreline.
The Al-Ghazal team waited until the 78th minute to reduce the deficit, with Musa Barou scoring the first goal, followed by Joshua King and Omar Mascarell adding the second and third goals in the 84th and 90+3rd minutes respectively. Al-Fateh had taken the lead through Lukas Harasl铆n and Wilfried Kanga in the 33rd and 60th minutes.
Al-Ghazal's first "remontada" dates back to February 25, 2016, when they stunned Al-Taawoun with two goals in eight minutes before regaining their balance to secure the win. The third match was against Al-Hilal on November 23, 2024, where Al-Ghazal equalized before winning thanks to a goal by Fabio Martins.
