Al-Ittihad announces 4 changes in the lineup for the Ajman match
Saudi club announces four changes to its starting lineup for the Gulf Club Champions League clash against Ajman.

Al-Ittihad First Team Football Club will face UAE-based Ajman at their home stadium on Wednesday, in the third round of Group 3 of the Gulf Club Champions League, fielding a starting lineup with four changes compared to the one that started against Kuwaiti side Kazma.

The four changes saw Slovak Marek Rodak, Brazilian Pedro Henrique, Kosovar Birsent Karagaren (Selina), and Abdulrahman Al-Husseini return to the starting lineup, replacing Turkish goalkeeper Turki Al-Balghouthi, Radi Al-Atiqi, Khaled Al-Ghnam, and Frenchman Moussa Demb茅l茅, who were relied upon by Australian coach Arthur Papas in the match against Kazma, which the team won with a clean sheet.

"Al-Riyadh" had revealed, citing a private source, about four hours before the match, that Australian coach Papas decided to include Abdulrahman Al-Husseini in the starting lineup against UAE-based Ajman, adding that the Australian coach prepared Al-Husseini to enter the starting lineup in place of the injured Ziad Al-Ghamdi.

Alongside Rodak, Henrique, Selina, and Al-Husseini, the Al-Ittihad lineup consisted of Scotsman Jack Hendry, Abdullah Al-Khaibari, Meshal Al-Alaaly, Slovak Ondrej Duda, Yasser Al-Shahrani, Ivorian Abdoulaye Kant茅, and Sultan Haroun. The substitute bench included 11 players, among them Spaniard Alvaro Medr谩n, Madallah Al-Olayan, and Serbian Matija Glu拧evi膰.

The Al-Ittihad team sits third with three points from one match, awaiting a decision from the Gulf Football Union regarding the fate of their match against Iraqi side Erbil, which was requested to be postponed from the second round. Meanwhile, Ajman leads the group with three points from two wins: 5-4 against Iraqi Erbil and 2-1 against Kuwaiti Kazma.
