The 10th round of the Saudi Pro League concludes on Tuesday with four matches, in which the trio of Al-Qadsiah, Al-Nassr, and Al-Ittihad hope to catch up with leaders Al-Hilal, continue pressuring them, and reduce the gap in the overall standings.
Derayah, Al-Riyadh, and Buraidah matches
Derayah and Al-Riyadh open these encounters at Prince Faisal bin Fahd City Stadium in the capital. The match is very important for Derayah, as it seeks to correct its position after its recent draw with Al-Taawoun, which raised its tally to 12 points in eighth place. Meanwhile, Al-Riyadh, whose match against Al-Hilal was postponed, enters the game with nine points, placing it 12th, having also drawn its last match against Al-Fayha 1-1.
In Buraidah, Al-Taawoun will seek its first league victory, which it has chased for nine rounds, as it sits in the second-to-last position with four points, with no improvement in its results so far. Meanwhile, the Qadsiah team enters the match aiming for the top spot, which it had reached after the postponement of Al-Hilal's match against Al-Riyadh. Al-Qadsiah strengthened its tally to 22 points following its hard-fought win over Abha, and will throw its full weight behind reaching the top again before facing its direct rival Al-Hilal in the next round.
Al-Ettifaq hosts Al-Ittihad and Al-Nassr faces Neom
In Dammam, Al-Ettifaq hosts Al-Ittihad in a match that will not be easy for either side, as the first seeks to move forward and enter the competition, holding 15 points in seventh place. On the other side, Al-Ittihad enters the match amid difficult circumstances after losing to Al-Hilal in the previous round, which distanced it somewhat from the competition, with its tally remaining at 17 points in fourth place.
At "Al Ula Park" in Riyadh, Neom visits Al-Nassr as a heavy opponent. Al-Nassr, which regained its winning form in the previous round at Neom's expense, aims to continue catching up with the top two, Al-Hilal and Al-Qadsiah, as it holds third place with 19 points. Meanwhile, Neom enters the match amid a decline in performance and results, having lost to Al-Ettifaq in the previous round, remaining on 16 points in fifth place. The team aims to correct its position and secure at least one point to strengthen its standing among the leading teams.
