Italian Antonio Raimondo, striker of Frosinone's first football team, became the first player in the club's history to score a hat-trick in the Italian league, during his team's 4-2 win over Sassuolo, in the seventh round of the competition, on Friday.
In the same context, the young striker was born on March 18, 2004, in the city of Ravenna, Italy. He is 185 cm tall and weighs 73 kilograms. He began his football career at the age of five with the Azura Ravenna team, then moved to Rossi and Calcio before joining the youth sector of Cesena between 2013 and 2018.
For his part, Raimondo joined Bologna in 2018, where he scored 44 goals in 80 matches with the youth teams. He was discovered by coach Sinisa Mihajlovic, who brought him into the first team and made him debut in the Italian league on May 17, 2021, against Hellas Verona at the age of 17.
He added that Raimondo owes a lot to current Gulf player Moussa Baro, who helped support him during his rise to the first team, noting that Baro's arrival as a young player helped him understand his feelings. He also expressed admiration for Swede Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
After one season with Bologna, Raimondo went on loan spells to Ternana, where he scored nine goals, as well as Venezia and Salernitana, before moving on loan to Frosinone in July 2025, scoring his first professional hat-trick against Sassuolo.
