Arab companies specializing in construction, engineering, and logistics sectors are turning to explore work and investment opportunities in the Syrian market, and to discuss cooperation prospects with local companies, in light of the requirements of the reconstruction phase and the wide range of partnership and expertise exchange opportunities it offers.
Participation in the "Project Syria 2026" exhibition and conference for construction, development, and real estate allows Arab companies to identify the needs of the Syrian market, showcase their products and services, and build commercial relationships with local economic entities, particularly in the fields of building materials, construction solutions, insulation, engineering, contracting, transport, and logistics services.
Establishing partnerships in Syria
Najati Ghazal, Operations Director at the Qatari engineering company Al-Jaber, clarified in a statement to SANA on Tuesday that the company aims, through its entry into the Syrian market, to establish partnerships with local companies operating in the engineering and contracting sectors, and to enhance cooperation with them in implementing major projects, particularly in the fields of infrastructure, oil, sports facilities, and flagship projects.
Ghazal noted that his company's operations have expanded in recent years to include several Arab countries, and its activity recently extended to the Syrian market.
Identifying Syrian market needs
For his part, Mohammed Babli, Commercial Director at the global building materials production company "Saint-Gobain," stated in a similar comment that the company offers a range of building material solutions, and that his participation in the exhibition stems from his interest in the Syrian market and his desire to identify its needs and explore ways to contribute to its reconstruction.
Babli pointed out that the company has been present in Syria since 2010 and owns a factory scheduled to reopen soon in the Haseya Industrial City.
Capitalizing on opportunities

Al-Hajj expressed his aspiration for direct communication with traders, exhibitors, and visitors, to promote its services and expertise in the field of shipping and logistics services, in addition to building new business relationships and expanding its cooperation network with commercial and economic entities.
