The Bab District Administration in eastern rural Aleppo put the Handicrafts Road, located in the industrial zone, into service today, Tuesday, after completing the preparation of its infrastructure. This project aims to support the industrial sector and facilitate the movement of vehicles and goods in the area.

For his part, Ahmed Allolo, director of the office of the Bab District Manager, clarified that paving and asphalt plans for the roads in the industrial zone of Bab city are still ongoing. He indicated that new equipment and machinery will be introduced to accommodate and serve the largest number of roads within the industrial zone, in addition to other roads and neighborhoods in Bab city.

The director of the industrial zone in Bab city, Mohammed Abdul Jabbar Al-Ali, added that completing the infrastructure networks and paving the street contributed to facilitating the work of industrialists and improving the flow of truck traffic. He pointed out that this achievement positively reflects on production, import, and export operations, thereby supporting local economic activity.

For his part, Engineer Mohammed Rasoul Al-Waki from the technical office of the industrial zone administration stated that technical workshops leveled the road, extended the drinking water and fiber optic internet networks, and installed street lighting. The works also included creating a rainwater drainage network and carrying out sewage maintenance works, ensuring an integrated infrastructure.

Al-Waki noted that the street extends for a length of 1000 meters and a width of 16 meters, making it capable of accommodating dense industrial and commercial traffic. This achievement comes as part of a continuous service plan, as the administration completed paving a new road in parallel with paving the Kitab Roundabout and Khalid bin Al-Waleed road in mid-September.
