The management of Al-Najma Club has appointed Bashaer bint Jarallah Al-Ghanim to the position of Chief Executive Officer of the Operations Sector, while she continues her duties as Secretary of the Board of Directors. This step aims to develop the institutional work system and enhance operational performance efficiency. This appointment is a continuation of a professional path in which Al-Ghanim has accumulated experience in executive management, governance, and organizational structure, benefiting from her movement between various administrative roles within the club.
Al-Ghanim's relationship with administrative work at Al-Najma Club began in 2022, when she assumed the position of Executive Secretary until 2023. During this period, she worked on managing content, media communications, and supporting community activities. In the same year, she continued her work as Secretary of the Board of Directors and Permanent Committees, overseeing board affairs and following up on decisions, while also contributing to the implementation of governance practices to enhance administrative discipline.
With her transition to the position of Assistant Chief Executive Officer in 2023, the scope of her responsibilities expanded to include supporting executive operations and coordinating between departments. Official sources in May 2026 indicated her participation, in her capacity as Assistant Chief Executive Officer, in signing an agreement to provide health services with Glasgow Medical Care and Rehabilitation Center, reflecting the expansion of her role in contractual matters.
Al-Ghanim's professional career is based on an academic background that includes a Bachelor's degree and an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA), with a specialization in governance and executive management. She obtained the Certified Board Secretary accreditation from the Governance Academy and the Corporate Governance Officer certification from the London Governance and Compliance Academy. Additionally, since 2024, she has been working as a Business and Institutional Development Consultant at "Sibb for Business Services" and is a certified trainer in institutional capacity building.
The new role represents a transition from monitoring executive operations to overseeing the broader operations system, including organizing workflow and developing procedures. Al-Najma management intends to adopt a mechanism for measuring the level of achievement and the extent to which administrative and operational goals are met, within a trend aimed at enhancing performance efficiency and improving internal procedures, thereby strengthening integration between technical, administrative, financial, and commercial aspects.
