Bayern Munich officially announces the signing of the Moroccan star Sibari
Reports: Long-term contract until 2031 worth €40 billion

On Thursday morning, July 2nd, the German club Bayern Munich announced the official signing of Moroccan international star Ismail Sibari from Eindhoven, confirming his success in finalizing one of the most prominent deals of the Mercato after strong competition with several European clubs.

The signing of Sibari Bayern Munich gives great tactical flexibility in the attacking midfield, given the player's ability to occupy the position of playmaker or play as an advanced attacking winger, which is in line with the club's vision to build a young generation that will lead its future project under the leadership of the technical staff.

Sibari will wear the number 34 shirt with Bayern Munich during his new Bundesliga experience, according to the club in a statement published on its official website.

Reports: Contract value 40 million euros

Al-Sibari signed a contract that extends for a full 5 years, to remain linked to the Bavarian giants until the summer of 2031, according to the statement, which did not mention the value of the contract, while sports reports indicate that the value of the deal ranged between 35 and 40 million euros, including incentives and bonuses.

Al-Sibari has performed at remarkable levels in the PSV Eindhoven shirt, as he played 142 games in various competitions, during which he scored 42 goals, becoming one of the team's most prominent players in recent seasons before moving to the Bavarian giant.

Ismail Sibari, 25, is currently in the ranks of the Moroccan team participating in the 2026 World Cup, which is being held in the United States of America, Mexico and Canada.

Al-Sibari: I will give the best at the Bavarian club

Morocco international Ismail Sibari expressed his happiness to join Bayern Munich, stressing that achieving this step has been a dream he has had since childhood.

"From a young age, any player dreams of signing with a club like Bayern Munich, everyone knows that it is one of the biggest clubs in the world, the club competes  every year for the most important titles, such as the Champions League, and I aspire to win as many championships as possible here.

"Bayern's style of play suits my potential and I feel I can give my best with the team. I will work hard every day to help the club achieve its goals."

The Moroccan star pointed out that coach Vincent Kompany played a decisive role in making his decision, stressing his great enthusiasm to work under his leadership during the next phase.

Al-Sibari scored decisive goals in the 1-1 draw against Brazil, a 1-0 win over Scotland and a 4-2 victory over Haiti, before successfully shooting the final penalty against the Netherlands in the round of 32.
