The "Bisan... Creations, Colors That Tell the Dream" exhibition was held at the Arab Cultural Center in Salhab, in the countryside of Hama, where the walls of the center were adorned with diverse artworks created by students of various age groups. This exhibition was organized by the Hama Directorate of Culture and the Cultural Center in collaboration with Shams Studio, in a move aimed at highlighting young talents.
Diversity of Artworks
The exhibition featured 150 artworks drawn using charcoal, graphite, pastel, and oil paints, covering diverse themes that presented artistic experiences for the studio's students. Fatima Abbas, supervisor of Shams Studio for Arts and the exhibition, noted that the name "Bisan" was chosen in honor of childhood, reflecting its meaning of a reassuring and peaceful home.
Wide Participation
Abbas added in a statement to SANA correspondent that the exhibition witnessed the participation of 40 students from various age groups with their artistic works. She emphasized her commitment to holding the exhibition periodically, aiming to introduce the public to the students' creative output and spread artistic culture within the local community.
Students' Experiences
For her part, participant Nora Jaroush explained that she began practicing drawing three years ago, initially using graphite and charcoal before moving to pastel drawing, expressing her hope to learn colored pastel drawing and display her works before a wider audience. For his part, student Milad Youssef said he is participating with six artworks covering diverse natural and life themes, noting that participating in exhibitions contributes to refining his experience and developing his artistic and creative skills.
The exhibition comes within the efforts of the Ministry of Culture and its directorates to spread artistic culture, support young talents, and provide them with the opportunity to display their works and introduce their creative experiences.
