Coalition for Legitimacy Condemns Houthi Attacks on Saudi Arabia
The Coalition for Legitimacy condemns Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia, citing violations of international humanitarian law.

The Coalition for Legitimacy in Yemen condemned on Thursday the continued attacks by the Houthi militia on civilians, airports, and civilian facilities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, affirming that these acts constitute a violation of international humanitarian law and a threat to the security of travelers.

In the same context, the official spokesperson for the Coalition forces, Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki, stated during a press conference that targeting Mecca and Medina represents an extension of a systematic hostile approach aimed at terrorizing the innocent and threatening the safety of the guests of God.

For his part, Al-Maliki expressed his condolences to the families of the victims, wishing the injured a speedy recovery, noting that targeting holy sites and civilians contradicts humanitarian principles, while clarifying that the militia acquired advanced technologies with the assistance of regional parties to become the first terrorist group possessing ballistic missiles, drones, and explosive boats.

Al-Maliki added that the Joint Forces command worked to dismantle the mountain storage networks in Sana'a, Saada, and Amran from which the attacks originate, and confirmed the militia's use of civilian assets, the central Al-Sabahah station, and underground fuel depots to fuel its war effort.

He pointed to the efficiency of air defense systems in intercepting threats, affirming the continued confrontation with militia threats, while the Coalition previously announced today the interception and destruction of two drones launched by the militia towards Saudi Arabia.
