His first artistic  experiment in "psychological horror" with Amr Youssef

Egyptian director Tarek El-Erian has revealed the features of his upcoming artistic projects in cinema and television drama, announcing that he will go through new artistic and directorial experiences that are completely different from what he presented throughout his previous artistic career.

El-Erian confirmed in television statements that his new film, titled "The Lullaby", which brings him together with the Egyptian star Amr Youssef, will represent his first step in the world of psychological horror cinema, a quality that he presents for the first time in his directorial career.

The Egyptian director explained that the film "The Lullaby" was supposed to see the light of day and start filming and implementation before heading to the film "Walad Rizk 4", but the intensive preparations and continuous work on the script took a longer period of time than expected as a result of the repeated modifications made to the script to ensure that it came out in the required artistic form, which prompted the filmmakers to take a decision to postpone the official start of filming until after the complete completion of work on the fourth part of the "Walad" series Rizq."

A New Global Experience

El-Erian announced his readiness to go through a dramatic experience with a global flavor by directing a joint series (French-English), whose dramatic lines and events revolve between Egypt and Britain.

Al-Erian pointed out that the story of the series is fully inspired by a real incident that took place in the twenties of the last century, pointing out that the work will be presented in its original language (English and French) in line with the nature of the historical and realistic events of the story.

Regarding the list of heroes, El-Erian revealed that the artist Amir Al-Masry is the most prominent and strongest candidate to take on one of the main roles in this Anglo-French project, explaining that he proposed the idea to Al-Masry about 5 years ago, where he found that the character suits him perfectly, considering that the global and local successes achieved by Amir during recent years have decisively enhanced the chances of his participation and presence in this work, while the production team is still continuing the search and scrutiny operations to choose the right French artist who She will play the female lead role.

It is worth mentioning that director Tarek El-Erian's latest film in cinemas is the second part of the film "The Ladder and the Serpent", which starred a group of stars including Amr Youssef, Asmaa Galal, Zafer Al-Abedin, Majed Al-Masri, Hatem Salah, and Fadwa Abed, written by Ahmed Hosni.
