Syrian News - Northeast Syria
The floods formed by the heavy rains witnessed in Al-Hasakah province last night swept away a truck full of passengers in the village of Hamo in the countryside of Qamishli, north of Al-Hasakah, as they headed this morning to visit the cemetery and read Al-Fatiha and a chapter of the Holy Quran on the first day of Eid, as were the customs, traditions and rituals followed on these occasions.
Local sources from the village confirmed to Syria News that all the people on board the truck, most of them women and children, survived the disaster, because the villagers rushed to their rescue immediately after the accident. As is evident in the video.
