The government media office in the Gaza Strip announced on Thursday that the number of Palestinian casualties resulting from Israeli shelling on a government point has risen to 4 killed and 30 injured, including 6 in critical condition.
The office stated in a statement that the casualty toll from the shelling on a checkpoint belonging to the Ministry of Economics in the Mawasi area west of Rafah city has risen to 4 killed government employees and 30 others injured, including 6 in critical condition.
Identity of the Victims
The office mentioned that the killed are Hammam Jaber Abu Labda, Mahmoud Subhi Abu Naima, Mohammed Hamad Al-Sultan, and Wasam Azat Adwan.
On Wednesday, medical sources told Anadolu Agency that Israeli shelling on the government point in Mawasi resulted in 3 killed and 15 injured.
Description of the Crime
The government media office described the Israeli shelling as "a new crime and a horrific massacre that targeted a group of civilian employees in the public sector."
It added that the targeted employees were carrying out their work in "inspecting goods (arriving to the Strip via the Kerem Abu Salem crossing) to ensure their validity and prevent the smuggling of drugs and illegal materials."
Violations of the Agreement
The office considered that "targeting government teams and civilian public employees is an integral part of the organized crime practiced by the occupation with the aim of undermining the work of government institutions and pushing towards chaos and lawlessness."
The attacks come within the framework of daily Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement announced since October 10, 2025.
Toll of Violations
Israeli violations of the agreement until Wednesday resulted in the killing of 1,568 Palestinians and the injury of 5,648 others.
Since October 2023, Israel has been committing genocide in the Gaza Strip, during which it killed more than 74,000 Palestinians and injured more than 175,000, causing massive destruction affecting approximately 90 percent of civilian infrastructure.
