General Authority for Supply and Procurement Announces Tender for Alternative Energy System Purchase

The General Authority for Supply and Procurement has announced its willingness to receive bids from interested parties to implement the project of purchasing an alternative energy system for the operations room in the Kabas building, for the benefit of the Ministry of Emergency and Disaster Management at full speed, according to the detailed specifications and conditions contained in the special condition books.

Tender Details and Financial Conditions

The tender project carries the number 123-毓-2026, and the announcement was published on 19-10-2026. It specifies the tender amount of 756,200 Syrian pounds only, which shall be submitted according to the special financial and legal condition book for the benefit of the General Authority for Supply and Procurement. It also requires the submission of final guarantees amounting to 10% of the contract value, to be paid within 15 days to the requesting entity.

Execution Period and Bidder Obligations

The execution period is set at 30 calendar days according to the condition books from the date of the commencement order, with the requirement that the bidder remains committed to their bid for 60 calendar days starting from the day following the end of the bid submission period. In case of delay, a delay penalty of 0.001 (one thousandth) of the total value of materials per day of delay shall be imposed, not exceeding a total penalty of 20% of the contract value.

Bid Submission Procedures

The bid must be submitted in three separate envelopes placed inside one sealed and signed envelope, addressed to the General Authority for Supply and Procurement, indicating the tender number and date. The first envelope includes documentary evidence and receipt of initial guarantees, the second contains the technical bid, and the third contains the financial bid. The deadline for submitting bids is the end of official working hours on Wednesday, 28-10-2026. Condition books can be obtained for 50 US dollars from the Authority's office in Damascus.
