The General Authority for Supply and Procurement announced its willingness to receive bids from interested parties for the project of supplying electrical transformers for pumping stations and wells on behalf of the Ministry of Energy – the General Company for Drinking Water and Sanitation in Daraa Governorate, at full speed according to the specifications and conditions detailed in the special condition books.
Tender Conditions and Terms
This project carries the tender number 122-W-2026, with an announcement date of 19/10/2026, and requires the submission of initial guarantees amounting to 1,200,000 Syrian pounds only, submitted according to the financial and legal condition book on behalf of the General Authority for Supply and Procurement. It is also required to pay final guarantees equivalent to 10% of the contract value within 30 days to the requesting entity.
Execution Period and Violations
The execution period is defined as 40 calendar days according to the condition books from the date of the commencement order, while the bidder must remain committed to their bid for 90 calendar days starting from the day following the end of the bid submission period. A delay penalty equivalent to 0.001 of the total value of materials per day of delay is imposed, with the total penalty not exceeding 20% of the contract value.
Submission Procedures and Contact
The bid is submitted within three separate envelopes placed inside one sealed and signed envelope, addressed to the General Authority for Supply and Procurement, indicating the tender number and date. The deadline for bid submission ends at the close of official working hours on Wednesday, 28-10-2026. Condition books can be obtained from the General Authority for Supply and Procurement office in Damascus for a price of 50 US dollars only.
