The artist "Taif Ibrahim" succeeded in booking his seat among the list of the most influential characters in the drama Ramadan 2026, through his performance as "Hammoud" in the series "Maulana", and despite the harsh nature of the role, the public interaction exceeded expectations, and the followers were divided between sympathetic and shocked.
The philosophy of "black comedy" in the middle of the war
In an exclusive interview with the "ET in Arabic" program, Taif revealed the behind-the-scenes construction of the character of "Hammoud", the strict soldier who carries out the orders of Colonel Kifah (Fares Al-Helou), explaining that he deliberately gave a comedic touch to the character despite its cruelty, saying: "I tried to present the form of a real human being who exists in this geographical circumstance. Comedy here is a form of catharsis to relieve the daily pressure on the viewers."
The "Blow-Up" Scene and the Turning Point
The scene of the explosion of Maulana's car by "Hammoud" was the climax of events and action, especially with the dramatic transformation and the coup of his friend "Nimr" against him.
Regarding the conflicting reactions to this betrayal, Taif said: "We are facing a man who was disappointed with the bond he was sheltering in. There are sympathizers and there are those who cursed, and in the end the decision is up to the public."
Collaboration with "Team Hassan"
In a gesture that reflects great professional maturity, Taif Ibrahim touched on the relationship between the hero of the work, the star "Tim Hassan", stressing that standing in front of the artist Tim is an important educational opportunity , describing him, saying: "Mr. Tim is a role model for all of us with his seriousness and high professionalism, and his influence extends strongly on the generation of the nineties."
From "Al-Tayer" to "Maulana". Responsibility for success
During the interview, Taif recalled his memories of his beginnings in the series "Al-Tayer" in 1998, considering that his current success in "Maulana" puts him in front of a double responsibility.
He expressed his gratitude to the Syrian and Arab audiences, saying: "I am heartbroken. The audience is light blooded and their comments are kind even in criticism, and this makes me feel a great responsibility to always give the best."
