Homs hosts Ahl al-Azm Exhibition to Support Youth Projects
Ahl al-Azm exhibition in Homs gathers 23 youth projects to support entrepreneurship and provide marketing and training opportunities.

The Azm Foundation for Entrepreneurship and Development in the city of Homs held, on Saturday, the "Ahl al-Azm" exhibition, which formed a space to support youth and startup projects and introduce diverse entrepreneurial ideas. The exhibition includes 23 projects combining handicrafts, smart solutions, and quality services, aiming to provide marketing opportunities, facilitate networking with the public, and encourage young people to launch and develop their projects.

Nihad Al-Daroubi, the director of the business incubator at the foundation, clarified that the exhibition aims to support young people and startup owners, and enhance the role of small businesses in supporting the economy and providing opportunities to acquire the necessary skills and experience for future expansion. She noted that the foundation supports youth through its business incubator program, which provides consultations, training, and networking among projects, adding that the exhibition provided more than five startups with the opportunity to launch.

For his part, Iyad Khatib, one of the participants, explained that his project started about a year ago as a platform specialized in medical courses in Homs, before expanding to include technical, educational, and business management fields, attracting trainers from within and outside Syria. Khatib pointed to efforts to develop a national Arabic online platform that allows trainers and universities to publish their courses without relying on external platforms.

For his part, engineer Essam Al-Jisri explained his participation in a technical project to develop an electronic system for recording employee attendance and departure via mobile phones, which relies on location identification, attendance documentation, and sending notifications to management. He noted that participation helps introduce the project to companies and opens the door to its implementation in both the public and private sectors.

For her part, visitor Rola Khrasan pointed to the diversity of projects, products, and services at the exhibition, especially electronic services and modern technical ideas, emphasizing the importance of holding such events in Homs to support youth projects. The exhibition, which continues until tomorrow, comes within the framework of initiatives aimed at providing an incubating environment for small and startup businesses, and enhancing youth presence in economic activity.
