Idlib Education Department Supplies Schools with 163 Teachers from Institute Graduates
The Education Directorate in Idlib province has supplied schools with 163 male and female teachers from the Teachers Preparation Institute graduates, aiming to fill the shortage of qualified teaching staff and enhance schools' capacity to accommodate the growing number of returning students.

The new batch was graduated today, Tuesday, during a ceremony held at the Cultural Center in Idlib city under the slogan "Batch of Impact and Empowerment," a step aimed at qualifying new educational cadres and meeting schools' needs, coinciding with ongoing school repair works and the return of thousands of students to education.

Mahmoud Al-Basha, head of the Rehabilitation and Training Department at Idlib Education, clarified during the graduation ceremony of the cadres at the Cultural Center today, Tuesday, to SANA, that this year's batch includes graduates from all specialties, including class teachers, English language, Arabic language, physics, chemistry, and mathematics.

For her part, Kinaz Haj Hussein, coordinator of the graduates' ceremony at the Teachers Preparation Institute, stated in a similar statement that 163 male and female teachers were graduated, and there is an urgent need for these cadres amid the significant increase in student numbers and the return of the educational process to normal after years of destruction and displacement.

Graduate Ahmad Abdul Razzaq Ghara, specializing in mathematics, said that the years of study were difficult before liberation, as they lived in camps and suffered from the distance from the institute, while graduate Wajeeha Ali Abdul Salam, specializing in English language, pointed out the province's urgent need for English language cadres to develop culture and science.

The education sector in Idlib is witnessing a rapid recovery stage after years of targeting and destruction that affected schools and educational facilities, where the Education Directorate, in cooperation with supporting organizations, is working on repairing schools and rehabilitating educational institutes, aiming to supply schools with competent teachers capable of keeping pace with the significant increase in the number of students returning from displacement camps.
