Inspection and Supervision Authority Strengthens Its Workforce with 128 Sworn Inspectors
128 trainees took the legal oath in Damascus and Aleppo to join the Central Inspection Authority.

128 inspectors and inspector trainees from the Higher Institute for Supervision in Damascus and its branch in Aleppo took the legal oath today, Sunday, before the head of the Central Inspection and Supervision Authority, Amer Al-Alawi, after successfully passing the required exams and transitioning to a new stage in their professional and career journey that combines specialized qualification with practical application of supervisory work, enabling them to utilize acquired knowledge and skills.

For his part, the Authority's media office clarified in a statement to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) that Al-Alawi emphasized after the oath-taking that supervisory work is a trust and responsibility requiring integrity, objectivity, and adherence to the laws and regulations governing the work, stressing the importance of continuous development of professional and scientific capabilities to enhance supervisory performance efficiency, elevate institutional performance, and improve the quality of services provided to citizens.

Al-Alawi pointed out that the Authority attaches special importance to preparing qualified supervisory cadres capable of facing professional challenges efficiently, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of public institutions and consolidating the principles of good governance. This step comes within the framework of the Authority's efforts to develop its supervisory system and strengthen its workforce with the necessary competencies to monitor violations and corruption cases and address them within legal frameworks, contributing to consolidating integrity and transparency and raising institutional performance efficiency.

The Authority had previously announced on September 3 the date and centers for the written exam for applicants to the first cohort of the National Program for Qualifying Internal Supervision Cadres, aimed at preparing specialized national cadres to assume internal supervision tasks in public institutions and entities, and qualifying them for positions of head of the internal supervision department and internal inspector in various Syrian governorates.
