Iranian Army Warns Trump Against Expanding the War
Iranian military warns Trump against new adventures that threaten to widen the regional conflict.

The spokesperson for the Iranian Army, Mohammad Akraminia, warned US President Donald Trump on Saturday against undertaking any new adventures against Iran, indicating that this would lead to an expansion of the war in the region. Akraminia affirmed in a post on the X platform that the army continues its war preparations without relying on the enemy's actions, given what he described as the dark history of US betrayal of diplomacy.

For his part, the office of Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei stated that the Leader met with senior military officials and issued instructions to respond to any potential attack immediately and without geographical restrictions. The spokesperson noted that Iranian forces are closely monitoring US activities in the region, warning that any new adventure under the influence of Zionist threats would involve war fires covering a wider geographical area.

In the same context, the United States and Israel began a war against Iran on February 28, which resulted in more than 3,000 casualties according to Tehran, which responded with attacks that killed Americans and Israelis before reaching a ceasefire in April. Later, the US launched attacks on sites in Iran despite stalled negotiations, despite both sides signing a memorandum of understanding in mid-June.

Tehran responded by carrying out attacks against what it said were US military facilities and equipment in Arab countries, but some of them resulted in civilian casualties and caused damage to civilian facilities.
