On the evening of Saturday, June 20, Israel's Channel 12 claimed that the Israeli army has decided to renew the ceasefire in Lebanon while adhering to keeping its forces in the areas it occupied in the south.
The channel quoted unnamed informed sources as claiming that the Israeli army "has ceased to operate in Lebanon under the direction of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yisrael Katz, but will not withdraw from the areas it occupied there."
Hezbollah holds Washington responsible for Israeli violations
Earlier today, Hezbollah said that the violations and violations of the Israeli occupation have exceeded 300 since the dawn of Friday, denying in a statement the validity of what it described as "allegations and lies" that the Israeli occupation continues to promote regarding allegations of its violation of the ceasefire agreement.
He added that these "allegations are completely untrue, and fall within the framework of the enemy's continuous attempts to mislead public opinion, and in the context of its clear and blatant attempt to sabotage the agreement between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America."
He pointed out that the violations and violations varied between airstrikes by warplanes and drones, artillery shelling and the firing of phosphorus shells on more than 25 towns and villages, including the city of Nabatieh.
He added that these attacks led to the death of more than 111 people and the wounding of 176 others, stressing that "the full responsibility lies with the Israeli occupation, whose officials publicly and repeatedly declare their rejection of the existing agreements and their refusal to withdraw from the occupied Lebanese territories, and all countries and officials, especially the United States, must exert pressure on the occupying entity to oblige it to implement the agreements and stop the attacks, instead of throwing accusations to the right and the north."
Iran presses for closure of Hormuz
Earlier, the command of the "Khatam al-Anbiya" headquarters for Iranian military operations announced that the Strait of Hormuz would be closed to ship traffic. It attributed its decision to the United States' lack of commitment to implement the first clause of the agreement to end the war, as well as the continuous and continuous violations of the ceasefire by the Israeli occupation in southern Lebanon, and the failure of its forces to withdraw from it.
It said that this step is "the first stage of the response to the violation of promises by the enemy", threatening to plan and take subsequent steps if the attacks continue.
Iran postponed the first round of talks with the United States in Switzerland on Friday due to Israeli violations of the ceasefire in Lebanon. Later, after the announcement of a new agreement for the truce in Lebanon mediated by the United States and Qatar, it was decided to hold the talks in Geneva.
Despite the entry into force of the new ceasefire agreement in Lebanon between Hezbollah and Israel at 4 p.m. on Friday, the Israeli occupation continued its attacks, killing at least 19 people, including two Lebanese soldiers , since dawn on Saturday.
