Israel kills child and injures fishermen in new violations in Gaza
A child was killed and two fishermen injured in new Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.

A child and two Palestinian fishermen were killed and injured, respectively, on Sunday, in scattered Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip, as part of the daily violations of the ceasefire agreement in effect since October 10, 2025.

Medical sources told Anadolu that the child, Maska Hazem Al-Dalu (6 years old), died as a result of being shot by Israeli fire east of the Maghazi refugee camp in the center of the Strip. Local sources told Anadolu that Israeli vehicles fired heavily at citizens' homes and displaced persons' tents east of the Maghazi camp and Deir al-Balah city in the center of the Strip, while Israeli artillery shelling targeted areas east of the camp itself.

In a related development, medical sources said two fishermen were injured with moderate wounds due to the explosion of an Israeli bomb off the coast of the Shati refugee camp west of Gaza City. Local sources indicated that a Quad Copter drone dropped a bomb on the fishermen while they were working at sea off the coast of the Shati camp.

Israeli vehicles also fired at tents of displaced persons south of Khan Younis city and east of it in southern Gaza. Until Saturday, Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement had resulted in the death of 1,511 Palestinians and the injury of 5,375 others, according to the latest data from the Gaza Health Ministry.

Since October 2023, Israel has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians and injured over 175,000 during the genocidal war in Gaza, while the war has caused widespread destruction affecting nearly 90 percent of the Strip's civilian infrastructure.
