Israeli occupation forces and settlers have escalated their attacks in the West Bank, including in Hebron, where the number of affected families reached 619 since last Friday. Approximately 3,971 people were forcibly displaced, while 85 citizens were arrested, and restrictions on the movement of Palestinians have tightened.
Widespread arrest and demolition operations
Occupation forces raided areas in Qalqilya and Jerusalem, arresting three Palestinians, while closing roads in Bethlehem for the fourth consecutive day. In Jenin, occupation soldiers bulldozed land in Qabatiya to clear a 11.5-kilometer-long settlement road, following the issuance of 15 "seizure" orders for 178 dunams. Agricultural and commercial structures were also demolished near the tourist village of Haddad.
Conditions of female prisoners
Palestinian prisoner institutions confirmed the continued detention of more than 90 women, with their conditions worsening and the spread of scabies. These institutions documented more than 810 arrest cases of Palestinian women since October 7, 2023, in the West Bank and the territories occupied in 1948, with the latest being the girl Marah Al-Zaqaq, who was arrested from Hebron.
Demolition and destruction statistics
The Palestinian Committee for Resistance to the Wall and Settlement documented 341 demolition operations during the first half of this year, affecting 740 facilities and homes. These operations resulted in harm to 923 Palestinians, including 546 children, while the occupation issued 254 new demolition or construction stop notices, undermining the social and economic stability of families.
