Khamenei orders immediate response to any attack targeting Iran
Khamenei orders immediate, unrestricted retaliation against any attack, including US and Israeli targets.

Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei ordered an immediate response to any potential attack targeting Iran, without geographical restrictions, during a meeting with top military officials on Saturday.

According to a statement from the Leader's office, Khamenei held a meeting with high-ranking officials, including Chief of the General Staff Ali Abdollahi, Army Commander Lieutenant General Amir Hatami, and IRGC Commander Lieutenant General Ahmad Vahidi. The Leader requested strengthening domestic defensive capabilities and developing security infrastructure using new technologies.

In the same context, the Iranian Armed Forces' target list was updated to include all physical and non-physical assets belonging to the United States and Israel. Khamenei was quoted as saying that the armed forces and the Iranian people would decide when and under what conditions the attacks would end if enemies resorted to military or terrorist attacks again.

For its part, Tehran stated that the United States and Israel started a war against Iran on February 28, resulting in more than 3,000 casualties. Tehran launched retaliatory attacks before reaching a ceasefire in April, and subsequently carried out attacks on US sites in Arab countries.
