The production company of the film "Al-Jawahiri" has launched the first teaser for the work, in preparation for its release in cinemas on August 5.
The first promo of the film "Al-Jawahiri" revealed a comedic atmosphere that brings together Mohamed Hneidi and Mona Zaki, and revolves around marital disputes and daily situations, as the work presents a social story with a satirical character that combines a number of paradoxes within a marital relationship that is going through successive crises.
The announcement shows that the couple, who embody their characters, Mohamed Hneidi and Mona Zaki, go through sharp disagreements, before hiring an expert in family relations, played by the artist Ahmed Salah Al-Saadani, in an attempt to save the relationship before making the decision to separate.
The story and heroes of the film "The Jeweler"
The film revolves around the character of Al-Jawaharji, who finds himself in frequent confrontations due to the nature of his married life, while the character of Mona Zaki appears as a wife who suffers from her husband's actions and tries to deal with the crises she faces inside the house.
The film stars alongside Mohamed Hneidi and Mona Zaki, Lablaba, Ahmed Salah Al-Saadani, Tara Emad, Bassem Samra, and Arefa Abdel Rasool, and the work is written by Omar Taher and directed by Islam Khairy.
"Al-Jawaherji" is scheduled to enter the summer 2026 film season, after a series of postponements that kept it away from theaters over the past years, as its release was delayed more than once since the end of filming.
The return of cooperation between Mohamed Heneidi and Mona Zaki
The film witnesses the return of cooperation between Mohamed Hneidi and Mona Zaki many years after their last cinematic meeting in the film "Saadi at the American University", which was released in 1998, and achieved a wide audience presence.
Author Omar Taher had previously explained that the film is based on social comedy, and deals with a number of situations related to human relationships and daily life, while presenting them in a light style.
The work also includes the appearance of the late artist Ahmed Halawa, who passed away before the completion of filming his scenes, while the work team previously confirmed that the matter was dealt with through appropriate artistic treatment within the events.
Mohamed Hneidi is currently preparing a number of new artistic projects, while Mona Zaki is preparing to present new drama and cinematic works in the coming period.
