Turki bin Abdulmohsen Al al-Sheikh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Entertainment Authority in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, launched the guide for the seventh edition of Riyadh Season 2027, which includes the most prominent sports, artistic, cultural, and entertainment areas and events scheduled during the season, which will kick off this week.
According to a statement issued by the Saudi Entertainment Authority, a copy of which was received by the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) today, Monday, the guide presents an overview of the season's areas and programs, enabling the public to review available events and experiences and learn about the most prominent events scheduled for the new edition.
Diverse Sports and Cultural Events
The season's program includes a number of sports events in wrestling, tennis, boxing, and mixed martial arts, as well as the Ethnosports Festival, which is the largest global gathering for traditional and popular sports and games. The program also includes concerts, theatrical and comedy shows, exhibitions, and festivals, along with family-oriented entertainment experiences.
Multiple Areas and Experiences
This year's season includes the Boulevard World area, which offers experiences inspired by multiple cultures, and "Boulevard City," which features entertainment events and shows, as well as the Wonder Garden area dedicated to games and family experiences. The areas also include Via Riyadh, which offers restaurants, shopping, and entertainment experiences, in addition to "Al Suwaidi Park" and Riyadh Zoo.
Among the events launched by the seventh edition of Riyadh Season is the "Winter of Dir'iyah" area, which has a local and heritage character, and the Farmers' Market, which brings together local products, foods, and accompanying activities. The seventh edition of Riyadh Season 2027 is scheduled to launch under the slogan "big time" on Wednesday, October 21, with its events continuing until March 1, 2027.
