MBC Group announced its official return to Syria after years of absence, by launching its new series "Love on Paper" in a special ceremony held at the Royal Semiramis Hotel in Damascus, in the presence of Syrian and Arab stars and drama makers.
Observers see this return as a remarkable step in the Arab production market, and opens the door to a new phase of filmed works in the Syrian capital, amid growing interest from Arab companies to return to the Syrian dramatic environment.
The series belongs to the youth romance-comedy category, and revolves around a volatile relationship between Lynn, an ambitious flower seller who loses a scholarship, and Us, a strict businessman who indirectly causes the scholarship to be canceled.
The relationship begins with a sharp clash, before a formal engagement deal that serves the interests of "Aws" brings them together, and gradually turns into a love story full of daily challenges and clashes, amid social lines that deal with work pressures, prejudices, and family.
Characters. A mix of romance, comedy, and conflicts
Anas Tayyara plays Aws, an organized businessman who finds himself in an unexpected relationship that changes the course of his life. Tayyara confirmed that there is a clear harmony with his partner in the tournament, Haya Marashli, as a result of a previous collaboration that created a "natural chemistry" between the two characters.
Haya Marashli embodies the character of "Lynn", an intelligent girl who carries human fragility and fear of the outdoors, in a role she described as different from her but touching her in some aspects.
