US company Meta has launched a new application called 'Style Sketch', which relies on artificial intelligence technologies to help users coordinate their clothes and suggest various looks using items from their wardrobes.
Smart digital wardrobe
The tech site TechCrunch notes that the app allows the creation of a digital wardrobe by linking it to Instagram accounts or adding items manually, where it analyzes the clothes and suggests outfits that suit the user's style, displaying them on a virtual model that mimics body shape and skin tone.
Smart travel planning
The app's functions also include planning travel outfits by entering the destination and suggested activities, to propose outfits that consider weather expectations and the travel schedule. It also allows selecting a specific item and obtaining suggestions for different outfits based on it to make use of available clothes.
Geographic availability
The app is currently available in Indonesia, Singapore, and Thailand on iOS and Android operating systems. Meta has not announced a date for expanding its availability, in a move within the company's trend to expand its presence in the field of AI applications.
