Mohammed Al-Anzi: The poetic scene is crowded, and Muhaawara does not appeal to me
Mohammed Al-Anzi describes the poetic scene as crowded and explains his lack of interest in Muhaawara.

Saudi poet Mohammed Al-Anzi clarified that the poetic scene is experiencing a high level of congestion, noting that the art of Muhaawara does not appeal to him despite its greatness and long history. Al-Anzi affirmed that digital platforms have facilitated poets in publishing their work, leading to disparities in the quality of submitted works between acceptable and good pieces.

In the same context, Al-Anzi pointed out that the abundance of poetic texts passing through the reader's mind causes a state of lack of focus in literary presentation, noting the absence of specific evaluation for works. He described the absence of some poets from the scene as laziness and moodiness, rejecting excuses related to luck or connections.

For his part, the Saudi poet explained that he avoids talking about the art of Muhaawara or Qalata, considering it a poetic art fixed on solid foundations and distinguished in the past ten years. Al-Anzi noted that the poetic scene has recently lost many creators, most notably the late poet Obaid Al-Dubaisi Al-Juhani.
