Mona Zaki reveals details of the series Tale Na'il, which aired in October on Shahid after 9 months of filming.

Egyptian actress Mona Zaki clarified to 'Al-Riyadiya' that her new series 'Tale Na'il', which began airing via the 'Shahid' platform in October, does not present marital infidelity as a means of revenge, but rather delves into the psychological transformations a woman undergoes after discovering it. She noted that the protagonist's motives and actions carry dimensions and secrets that are gradually revealed as the events unfold.

For his part, director Hani Khalifa emphasized his commitment to controlling the pace of confrontations between characters, stating that filming the dinner scene featuring Nora and May took a full week to achieve the required expressive details. Preparation and filming took nine months, given the work's reliance on precise psychological details that required careful attention in scene construction and emotional development.

Mona added that presenting the work in 10 episodes outside the Ramadan season gives the events room to maintain a fast and intense pace, without prolongation that could affect the story's development. Mona Zaki shared her happiness over the wide interaction the work has achieved since its premiere, accompanied by discussions on social media platforms in Egypt and the Arab world.

She pointed out that Nora's journey is based on intertwined feelings of oppression, challenge, and the desire to reclaim her life after the shock of infidelity. The series was filmed in real locations in Cairo, including homes and offices connected to the nature of the characters and their daily lives, aiming to give the events a realistic tone and enhance the credibility of dramatic confrontations.

Filming for the series began in late December 2025 and ended in early September 2026. The series revolves around Nora, a wife and mother who discovers her husband Ali's infidelity. Ali is a musician portrayed by Mohamed Shaheen, leading her into a complex journey to uncover hidden aspects of her marital life.

Mona praised the work's atmosphere and the understanding among its cast behind the camera, noting that her collaboration with Mohamed Shaheen was characterized by harmony and artistic chemistry. She also commended Mariam Al-Khashat's efforts, considering that the synergy among the work team contributed to presenting the characters and their relationships in a way that serves the dramatic path.
