Muscle tear sidelines Nader Al-Sharari from Al-Nassr
Nader Al-Sharari's muscle tear will keep him out of training and matches for two to three weeks.

Medical tests conducted on Nader Al-Sharari, defender of Al-Nassr's first football team, revealed he is suffering from a tear in the hamstring muscle, after he felt some pain during a therapy session on Saturday, according to a source close to "Al-Riyadiya".

The same source indicated that Al-Sharari underwent an ultrasound scan last Saturday to determine the nature of the pain he experienced during the therapy session after informing the club's doctor, who in turn requested an ultrasound examination, as the results showed a tear in the hamstring muscle, which will keep him out of participating in group training for a period ranging between two and three weeks.

Potential absence from several matches

Australian Ange Postecoglou, the team's coach, is expected to exclude Al-Sharari from his plans in at least 4 league matches, against Neom, Al-Faisaly, Al-Khaleej, and Al-Hazem, in addition to matches against Al-Wasl and Bunyodkor Uzbekistan in the AFC Champions League Elite, until he regains full fitness, amid the start of the treatment and rehabilitation phase according to the specified medical program.

Determining the readiness of the defensive duo

"Al-Riyadiya" had reported on Saturday that the medical report on Al-Sharari, along with French defender Mohamed Simakan, would determine the extent of the duo's ability to participate against Neom next Tuesday at "Al-Awwal Park" in Riyadh, in the tenth round of the Saudi Pro League, according to a source.

Al-Nassr is preparing to return to Saudi Pro League competitions against Neom next Tuesday in Riyadh, after the league association postponed their match against Al-Ahli, in the ninth round, to March 6 next year.
