The National Falconry Center announced the official opening of registration to participate in the King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival for 2026, which will be held at the Center's headquarters in Mulham, north of Riyadh, from November 17 to 30 next year. The Center urged falconers to complete registration procedures accurately according to the deadlines set for each stage of the organizational process.
This festival is the largest of its kind globally in the field of falcon gathering and is classified as one of the most prominent international events aimed at preserving the Arab falconry heritage. The festival includes the Mulawah and Muzayen competitions, where Saudi and international falconers compete for financial prizes exceeding 38 million riyals, the largest globally in this field, in addition to titles for the King Abdulaziz Cup, "Shalafat Al-Malik," and "Saif Al-Malik."
For his part, the Center clarified that registration is activated through its dedicated electronic platform, with the first stage running from October 22 to November 2. In the same context, new registration for falcons of the "Qaranis" category and the transfer of their ownership in person will be available from October 29 to 31, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Center's headquarters in Mulham.
He noted that the stage for reviewing registrations and addressing related comments will be conducted electronically from November 3 to 5. International participants' in-person registration will also be available from November 17 to 23, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with their accounts verified via the Center's platform. Registration also includes the Muzayen competition, where registration is available in person and electronically throughout the festival days from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with each category closing one day before its scheduled match date.
