Occupation forces arrest 22 Palestinians and establish two settlement outposts in the West Bank
Israeli forces escalated raids in the West Bank, arresting 22 Palestinians and establishing two new settlement outposts south of Hebron.

Israeli occupation forces escalated their attacks in the West Bank for the third consecutive day, carrying out raid and arrest campaigns targeting 22 Palestinians in the Hebron and Bethlehem governorates, coinciding with the establishment of two new settlement outposts south of Hebron.

The Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) reported, citing security and local sources, that occupation forces raided the towns of Dura, Yatta, As-Samu, and Tarkumia in the Hebron governorate and arrested 20 Palestinians after raiding and searching their homes, while two Palestinians were arrested in Bethlehem governorate.

In the same context, occupation forces tightened the military siege imposed on the cities, towns, villages, and camps of Hebron governorate, closing the roads leading to them, and pursued citizens who attempted to enter or exit. They also continued to close the areas of "Al-Jalda" and "Ain Deir Baha" in Hebron, following the forced evacuation of large parts of them, which led to the displacement of more than 200 families and the forced displacement of approximately 2,500 citizens over the past three days.

Reports indicated that groups of settlers began establishing two new settlement outposts in the town of Yatta south of Hebron, while another group stole 12 sheep in the same area. The Palestinian Prisoners Club confirmed on Saturday the escalation of arrest and raid campaigns in the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, noting that approximately 70 arrests were recorded in the past hours.
