The Dream Park Sports, Tourism, and Entertainment Project was inaugurated today, Tuesday, in Daraa Governorate, at the Martyr Mahmoud Al-Jawabra Sports City. The opening ceremony was attended by Daraa Governor Anwar Al-Tah Al-Zoubi, Chairman of the Syrian Investment Authority Ahmad Rawad Ramadan, and a number of officials and economic and social figures.

The project includes a variety of sports and entertainment facilities, including football fields, an indoor Olympic swimming pool equipped with heating systems, tennis and padel courts, and indoor halls for basketball, volleyball, and handball. The project also features a fitness and bodybuilding club, a bowling hall, a children's amusement city, a family park, multi-purpose halls, and commercial and service facilities including cafes and shops.

In this context, Daraa Governor Anwar Al-Tah Al-Zoubi stated that the governorate is moving to a new stage of investment based on public-private partnership. He emphasized that building countries, their prosperity, and achieving stability within them requires an integrated relationship between the two sectors, stressing that the project represents a return of investment to the governorate despite the challenges and obstacles it faces.

For his part, Ahmad Rawad Ramadan, Chairman of the Syrian Investment Authority, emphasized the importance of the project in supporting investment activity in Daraa Governorate, particularly in the sports, tourism, and entertainment sectors. He pointed out that establishing such projects contributes to revving up the economy, creating job opportunities, and developing services provided to citizens, noting that enhancing investment requires cooperation between government entities and the private sector.

Investor Yaqoub Al-Salamat clarified that the project aims to create an integrated space that combines sports, entertainment, and family activities, providing residents with multiple options for spending leisure time and practicing sports. The launch of the project comes within the efforts aimed at activating investment in the governorate and expanding the base of service and entertainment projects, thereby contributing to supporting the local economy.

The project aims to provide an integrated environment for families, youth, and children to benefit from a variety of services in one location, thereby enhancing its role as a major sports and entertainment destination in the governorate.
