Opening of Four New Postal Centers in Al-Hasakah to Serve Citizens
Al-Hasakah branch opens four new centers in Arishah, Al-Hol, Tal Brak, and Al-Yaarabieh to expand postal and financial services.

The General Establishment for Posts branch in Al-Hasakah governorate opened four new postal centers today, Wednesday, in the areas of Arishah, Al-Hol, Tal Brak, and Al-Yaarabieh, aiming to facilitate citizens' access to postal and financial services and reduce the burdens of travel and financial costs, especially in villages and districts far from the center of Al-Hasakah city.

The branch manager, Rashid Al-Jarban, clarified in a statement to a SANA correspondent that the opening of these centers is part of a plan to expand the spread of postal services and reach the largest possible segment of citizens in various areas of the governorate, thereby reducing their hardship of traveling to the main center in Al-Hasakah city.

Al-Jarban noted that the centers currently provide salary disbursement services under the social insurance and pension insurance systems, in addition to withdrawal and deposit services via the "Sham Cash" application, payment of mobile telecommunications company bills, and execution of domestic financial transfers.

He pointed out that the branch is working to expand the scope of provided services to include issuing documents and domestic and international postal parcel services, meeting citizens' needs and contributing to improving their access to services.

Al-Jarban highlighted that the dispersion of villages and districts in Al-Hasakah governorate and high transportation costs constitute a burden on citizens, emphasizing that the opening of the new centers aims to bring services closer to them and save time, effort, and financial costs incurred by traveling to the city center.

The General Establishment for Posts branch in Al-Hasakah had opened several postal centers in the governorate during the past few months, bringing the number of service-covered sites to 13, including Al-Hasakah, Qamishli, Ras al-Ayn, Amuda, Rmelan, Al-Jawadia, Tal Hamis, Al-Hol, Arishah, Al-Shadadi, Tal Brak, and Al-Yaarabieh. A postal center in Darbasiyah is scheduled to open tomorrow, Thursday, as part of completing the plan to expand the postal service network in the governorate's cities and rural areas.
