Pereira demands urgent injury report for Abha after taking over technical duties
Croatian coach Pereira requests a detailed injury report to devise a plan to save the club from losses in the Saudi league.

Croatian coach Theo Pereira, who has taken over the technical duties of the Abha first football team, has requested an urgent report on the condition of injured players. This comes after the club's management ended the contractual relationship with his compatriot Damir Boric, according to a source close to 'Al-Riyadh'. This move aims to formulate an urgent plan to save the team from consecutive losses it has suffered in the Saudi Pro League.

The source indicated that the report will be placed on Pereira's desk on Thursday and will include the type of injury for each player, the rehabilitation period, and the expected duration of absence. Preliminary reports have shown that player Khaled Al-Shamrani requires a treatment period ranging from 3 to 4 weeks for his hamstring injury. Cameroonian George Nkoudou needs between two and three weeks due to his shoulder issue, while French player Nabil Fekir requires 10 to 14 days following his muscular injury.

In the same context, Abha is missing a group of players due to scattered injuries, including Senegalese defender Abdou Diallo and player Basil Al-Siyali, who underwent pelvic surgery. The source confirmed that Pereira has enlisted Saudi coach Osama Al-Shahri, assigned Fahd Abu Saeidan the task of physical preparation, and retained Portuguese Paulo Andre as the goalkeeping coach.

On the same note, the Saudi Professional League announced the rescheduling of Abha's match against Al-Ittihad, part of the 12th round of the Saudi Pro League. The match will be hosted at Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium in Al-Muhala, with the kickoff time moved from 04:45 to 03:30.
