President Ahmed Al-Sharaa said in a post on the X platform : "On the occasion of the arrival of the new Hijri year, I extend my best congratulations to our Syrian people, and to the Arab and Islamic nations.
He added: "May God make it a good year and a blessing for Syria and its people, and grant them the blessing of security and stability."
