Protest in Raqqa Condemns Israeli Aggressions
Raqqa residents reject Israeli incursions in Quneitra and Daraa, affirming Syrian unity.

A protest took place in the city of Raqqa on Friday, involving members of the governorate, in rejection of the continuous Israeli incursions and aggressions in the governorates of Quneitra and Daraa, under the slogan: "Quneitra is not alone, and Southern Syria is a unifying national issue." The protest was held at Al-Nuaim Roundabout, where participants raised banners affirming the unity of Syria in land and people, condemning the repeated Israeli aggressions on Syrian lands.

For his part, activist Abdul Rahman Al-Ahmad, in a statement to a SANA correspondent, stated that Israeli violations have reached an unbearable level, expressing confidence in Syrians' ability to confront the aggressions and their readiness to defend their homeland. Citizen Ammar Al-Hamad pointed to the place held by Daraa governorate in the Syrian consciousness as the cradle of the revolution, emphasizing the necessity of standing in a single line to protect Syrian lands.

Citizen Hassan Ahmad Al-Mohammed added that Syrians form one body in the face of aggressions, warning of the repercussions of Israeli escalation on regional security. Citizen Khaled Mahmoud Al-Mousa also pointed to the readiness of residents, in cooperation with the Syrian Arab Army, to take up arms in defense of Syrian lands. Similar protests took place in several governorates on Friday, involving a large number of residents, relatives of victims, and detainees held by the occupation forces.

The Israeli occupation forces continue to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through their repeated incursions in Southern Syria, raiding civilian homes and arresting them, leveling lands, and carrying out aggressions with shells and other means. The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates had condemned in the strongest terms the escalation of Israeli occupation incursions in Quneitra and Daraa on the 18th of this month, considering it a blatant violation of Syria's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
