Several Syrian governorates witnessed protest rallies on Friday condemning Israeli incursions and aggression on Daraa and Quneitra governorates, with the participation of some residents, relatives of victims, and detainees held by occupation forces during their incursions in southern Syria.
Israeli forces continue to carry out incursions in southern Syria, involving raiding civilian homes, arresting individuals, and bulldozing lands, in violation of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned, on October 18, the escalation of Israeli incursions in Quneitra and Daraa governorates in recent days, coinciding with intensified flights of helicopters, reconnaissance aircraft, and warplanes in the skies of southern Syria, considering this a violation of Syria's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and a threat to the security and safety of citizens.
