Real Estate Bank Resumes Services at Its Branch in Dummar Project, Damascus
The Real Estate Bank reopens a branch in Dummar as part of expanding banking services across Syrian governorates.

The Real Estate Bank resumed providing its banking services to citizens at its branch in the Dummar Project in Damascus today, Sunday, after a previous period of suspension, contributing to meeting the needs of the area's residents and its immediate surroundings.

Finance Minister Yasser Barnea clarified in a statement to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) that the reopening of the branch is part of efforts to enhance the spread of banking services and expand their scope, especially as it meets the needs of a wide segment of citizens in the area and its surroundings.

In the same context, Barnea emphasized that the Ministry is working to strengthen the role of public banks in serving citizens and supporting economic activity, noting that work continues to rehabilitate several branches in various areas, with the coming period witnessing the reopening of branches in the governorates of Al-Hasakah, Raqqa, Deir Ezzor, Aleppo, and Idlib, according to specific timelines.

For her part, General Manager of the Real Estate Bank Manal Al-Khabour explained that the bank constitutes one of the fundamental pillars supporting economic activity and reconstruction efforts, through providing a comprehensive range of banking, electronic services, and credit facilities.

Al-Khabour added that the bank's services include withdrawals, deposits, installment payments, opening accounts, and executing domestic and international transfers, among other services, expressing her hope that the resumption of the branch's operations will contribute to meeting the needs of clients and improving the level of service provided to them.

The Real Estate Bank is considered one of the most important public banks in Syria. As part of expanding the scope of financial services and facilitating citizens' access to them, cooperation between the bank and the Syrian Post was strengthened in the past period. The latter announced last September the expansion of cash withdrawal services for holders of the Real Estate Bank's cards through 80 postal points distributed across various governorates.
