Daraa Electricity Company began, on Tuesday, renovation and rehabilitation works at the Sahm al-Jawlan electricity workshop in western Daraa countryside. These works aim to improve the working environment and enhance the level of electrical services provided to citizens in the area.

Mohammed al-Safadi, head of the Sahm al-Jawlan electricity workshop, clarified that the workshop serves approximately 130,000 citizens and is responsible for handling faults on both low and medium voltage networks, installing meters, and collection operations. Al-Safadi pointed out the importance of equipping the workshop with necessary machinery and equipment, especially a crane, which would contribute to improving the state of the electrical network and raising the level of service.

For his part, Nidal Mardoud, supervisor of the renovation works, stated that the rehabilitation works include repairing walls, painting, and installing doors and windows, in addition to carrying out sanitary works and laying a drinking water line. He noted that the contract execution period is approximately two months, with the goal of improving working conditions and contributing to providing better services.

These works come within the framework of efforts to provide suitable conditions for workers in the electricity sector, accelerate fault resolution, and respond to citizens' complaints, amid the need to rehabilitate infrastructure that has been damaged.
