In the round's most prominent match, Spanish team Barcelona hosts English side Aston Villa at Camp Nou at 11:00 PM Damascus time, while Spanish Atletico Madrid faces German Bayern Munich in a football summit at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in the Spanish capital Madrid at the same time.
At the same time, English Manchester United faces Italian guest Roma at Old Trafford, while Spanish Villarreal hosts French team Paris Saint-Germain at La Ceramica Stadium in Spain, and Dutch Feyenoord meets Italian Inter Milan at De Kuip stadium in the Dutch city of Rotterdam.
Also, Norwegian Bod酶/Glimt hosts French team Lille at Aspmyra Stadium, while Austrian LASK faces Slovak guest Slovan Bratislava at the Raiffeisen Arena.
The round's matches open at 8:45 PM Damascus time with the match between Turkish Galatasaray and German Stuttgart, while Ukrainian Shakhtar Donetsk meets Portuguese Sporting Lisbon.
The round's competitions continue tomorrow Wednesday with a group of anticipated clashes, most notably the match between Real Madrid and Liverpool, and Manchester City and Arsenal.
Paris Saint-Germain tops the UEFA Champions League standings with 9 points, ahead of second-placed Aston Villa on goal difference, while Liverpool is third, Real Madrid fourth, and Real Betis fifth.
