The Syrian Arab Red Crescent branch in Al-Hasakah continues to distribute relief materials to families affected by floods and floods in various areas of the province.
The chairman of the branch's board of directors, Khader al-Zaher, told Syria News that the branch's volunteers distributed relief materials to 319 families in 12 villages belonging to the Al-Arisha district in the southern countryside of Al-Hasakah, as part of the ongoing emergency response to the needs of those affected by floods, floods and heavy rains.
Al-Zahir indicated that the items distributed included (food basket, women's winter clothing basket, and a light charger) with the support of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and the International Committee of the Red Cross.
Al-Zaher confirmed that the Syrian Arab Red Crescent teams in Al-Hasakeh were present at the response site to respond to any emergency situation, raise awareness of the dangers of mines and assess and register the survivors of their explosions.
