The Tech Rise team launched today, Wednesday, a two-day training program in the city of Homs, in collaboration with the Startup Syria initiative and the Syrian Association for Informatics, as part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week events. This program aims to enhance participants' media presence and entrepreneurial communication skills, as well as personal marketing and professional readiness.

The program includes four workshops organized at the headquarters of the Syrian Association for Informatics in Homs. The workshops of the first day focused on media presence and entrepreneurial communication skills, as well as personal marketing and professional readiness. The first workshop tomorrow will focus on innovation and its relationship with society, while the second will focus on leveraging artificial intelligence to move ideas from concept to implementation, within the framework of supporting youth initiatives and spreading the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship.

Bilal Shama, director of the Tech Rise team, clarified in a statement to SANA correspondent that the choice of event themes is to keep pace with the requirements of entrepreneurs. He explained that the workshops are offered free of charge to students as part of the team's efforts to empower the youth of Homs and enhance their capabilities. He pointed to work on expanding the scope of these initiatives across Syria and connecting participants with relevant parties regarding employment and labor market needs.

For her part, Engineer Rozana Al-Tarazi highlighted the importance of the media presence and entrepreneurial communication workshop as one of the essential skills needed by project owners to showcase their work and define its value. She explained that the workshop covered building self-confidence in front of the audience and camera, mechanisms for presenting projects and displaying ideas clearly and effectively, in addition to training participants on introducing themselves and their projects in a short time.

Participant and telecommunications engineer Mais Al-Ajjaj emphasized the importance of the personal marketing and professional readiness workshop in linking it to job opportunities, understanding work mechanisms, and developing skills, thereby enhancing her professional prospects in the future. She noted that the training and discussions during the two workshops helped her expand her knowledge and apply what she learned practically.

The events of the Global Entrepreneurship Week, organized by the Startup Syria initiative, began on the 25th of last month at the Information and Communications Technology Incubator at the Syrian Association for Informatics at Homs University, with the participation of students, graduates, and a number of young entrepreneurs. It is worth noting that the Global Entrepreneurship Week is an annual international event aimed at enhancing the culture of entrepreneurship and innovation, and supporting the environment for emerging businesses.
